After missing out on Aaron Gordon two weeks ago, the men's basketball team is still looking to add one more player in the 2013 recruiting class. The class is already huge with seven players committed. Two of those, Tyrell and Tyree Robinson, do not count against the scholarship limit because they play football. Two others, Elgin Cook and Jalil Abdul-Bassit, are junior college transfers with three and two years of eligibility, respectively.

Shortly after missing out on Gordon, the Ducks offered junior college small forward, Jamal Jones of Lee College in Texas. Jones recently visited Arkansas and in addition to Oregon is also considering San Diego State, Texas A&M, and TCU. At 6'8, 190 lbs Jones is extremely versatile and has the ability to guard and shoot from the perimeter, as well as get to the rim. He averaged 20 points and 5 rebs at Lee this year. It is thought that Arkansas is the team to beat but if Oregon can get Jones on campus they have a very good shot.

If the Ducks miss out on Jones they could offer another junior college player. Brad Winton of JucoRecruiting.com has a list of players who are still hot commodities on the recruiting front, some of whom could be possibilities for the Ducks. If Oregon does pursue one of these players, expect it to be a forward.

Oregon could also go after a transfer player from a 4-year college like they did with Arsalan Kazemi last year. Recall that Kazemi didn't commit to the Ducks until late September.

While Oregon's class is already large, expect them to be aggressive in pursuing one more and expect it to be a transfer player who can play in the front court.
