Oregon Ducks Baseball Vs. Stanford Cardinal Game 1 Open Thread

First of an important 3 game series.

After losing the home series against UCLA and a getaway game against Portland, life gets no easier as the Ducks face off against the Stanford Cardinal. Taking the mound for Stanford is the highly touted Mark Appel. Appel boasts a ERA of only 1.54 and has 7 wins already on the season.

The Ducks counter with Tommy Thorpe who lost a heart breaker in his last appearance against UCLA. Runs may be at a premium in this pivotal Pac-12 match-up.

Jerry Allen will have the call on 95.3 and goducks.com will have the live webcast. I will post it when it goes live.
