With spring football over, the quack seems rather limited today. Here's what I could scrounge up, enjoy:
- The baseball team is down to the final four weeks of the regular season. After last week's sweep of Sanford, the Ducks (16-5) remain percentage points behind Oregon State (14-4) in the race for the conference title. Nationally, Oregon moved up two spots to #11 in the latest Baseball America poll. This week, the Ducks are on the road, first with a two-game series against Seattle that begins today and then a three-game series against Washington State this weekend.
- First baseman Ryon Healy was named the conference player of the week for the second time this season after hitting .400 with two homeruns, one double, seven RBI and three runs scored over four games last week.
- Hey football quack! Mark Schlabach has a way-too-early-top-25 for 2013 and Oregon comes in at #3. Other conference schools that made the list include Stanford (#5), UCLA (#19) and USC (#23).
- The Pac-12 men's golf championships began yesterday and after two rounds the Ducks are in ninth place at 32 over par.
Go Ducks!
