Another sparse news day; here's what I could scrounge up:
- The big news from yesterday, which Noah covered here, was the verbal commitment from prep defensive lineman Jalen Jelks. A three-star prospect out of Arizona, Jelks is being recruited at end for Oregon.
- Dale Newton has a post up on redshirt sophomore BJ Kelley who is looking to increase his playing time at receiver and make a bigger impact this fall.
- Ted Miller previews the kicking position and, unsurprisingly, the Ducks finally fail to receive a "Great Shape." Still, I think most Duck fans are optimistic that either improvement from Alejandro Maldonado or incoming freshman Matt Wogan will help give Oregon at least a competent kicking game..
- Ready to be the next Don Essig? Oregon is looking for a volleyball PA announcer. Two candidates will be selected by the athletic department and the final decision will be made by fan vote after an exhibition game in August.
Go Ducks!
