Hard to believe that next week we'll start having practice reports rumors to discuss. Enjoy your last Tuesday offseason quack:
- Over at the Pac 12 blog, Kevin Gemmell has a video interview with Marcus Mariota and asks him about this season's high expectations. Ted Miller has the linebacker positional preview up and, similarly to the kicker position, the Ducks are listed as "we'll see," after losing three starters from last season, all of whom are now on NFL rosters.
- Dale Newton has a short scouting piece on junior center Hroniss Grasu.
- Jordan Hoiem, a commit from Oregon's current recruiting class, has announced he's retiring from football. It sounds like Hoiem had a rough year last year and wasn't enjoying football. There's definitely nothing wrong with a kid trying to figure out what he wants to do---and I wish him the best.
- In Philadelphia, some 30,000 fans showed up to watch the Eagles first practice with pads under Chip Kelly.
Go Ducks!
