- Alejandro Maldonado kicked a field goal during an 11-on-11, but later Maldonado, Matt Wogan and Hayden Crook all missed from 47 yards.
- Marcus Mariota continues to impress and grow as a leader.
- In the afternoon, the running backs were noted for standing out and Thomas Tyner's soft hands were again mentioned.
- Sophomore tight End Pharaoh Brown was on crutches with his leg in a cast after the afternoon session, with Helfrich noting that "he's not 100%."
