Only 18 more days.

Highlights (from Oregon's official practice reports: morning and afternoon)

  • Alejandro Maldonado kicked a field goal during an 11-on-11, but later Maldonado, Matt Wogan and Hayden Crook all missed from 47 yards.
  • Marcus Mariota continues to impress and grow as a leader.
  • In the afternoon, the running backs were noted for standing out and Thomas Tyner's soft hands were again mentioned.
  • Sophomore tight End Pharaoh Brown was on crutches with his leg in a cast after the afternoon session, with Helfrich noting that "he's not 100%."

Blurb of the day:

Mark Helfrich on Daryle Hawkins  and his recent marriage:

I told him today that we should have gotten him married earlier.  He's made a ton of plays.  He made several deep-ball plays the last two days and practiced really well.
