Thursday. Week not ending fast enough. Slow news day, but here is some Quack to get you through.
Links:
- The biggest news of the day is the status of Johnathan Loyd. Oregon plays 16-4 UCLA tonight at Matthew Knight Arena, with Loyd coming off surgery for a broken nose yesterday. He'll be a gametime decision for the 6:00 p.m. tip.
- The other major basketball news is that Arik Armstead has left the team. Armstead made the decision after a talk with Dana Altman about a bigger role proved non-fruitful. Armstead has played in only one basketball game in two seasons. With Oregon's woes in the middle this year, it became clear that if he didn't play in the rotation this season, it was never going to happen. Armstead will now solely focus on football.
- Oregon is making a hard late push to secure the commitment of 5* athlete Juju Smith.
I've got a bunch of essays to grade, and report cards to get ready, so I'll leave the rest up to you. If you find
more quack, please share.
