Four Star 2016 QB Seth Green Commits to Oregon

Green is Oregon's second commitment in the 2016 recruiting class.

Oregon picked up its second commitment in the 2016 class today when four star quarterback Seth Green committed to the Ducks live on Bleacher Report.

Green joins four star safety Brady Breeze in the 2016 class. He is entering his third year as the starting QB at East Ridge High School in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where to date he has accounted for 1,319 passing yards, 435 rushing yards and a combined 16 touchdowns. At 6'4, 210 lbs Green is rated as a four star QB, the #8 overall dual-threat QB, and the #182 recruit in the 2016 class by the 247 composite ranking.

Green was one of Oregon's first offers in the 2016 class and a huge pickup for a program that will soon be moving on from the Marcus Mariota era. Speaking with the Star Tribune in Minnesota, his high school coach had this to say about Green as a player and person:

"Since I've known him he's always been mature for his age," East Ridge coach Mike Pendino said. "That gives him a leg up on most kids. And he's got God-given athletic ability and a great work ethic. You combine all that and it's a measure for success."

Green chose Oregon over Minnesota and Michigan State. You can watch his HUDL highlight video below.
