Two days after losing its first game of the season, Oregon received some good news when 3* defensive end Gus Cumberlander announced his commitment via Twitter:

Cumberlander made his official visit to Oregon for Thursday's game against Arizona where he reportedly bonded with Travis Waller, Oregon's 4* QB commit. He is Oregon's 14th known commitment and first along the defensive line. At 6'6, 240 lbs, it is thought that Cumberlander will be able to add significant weight and play with the front three in a 3-4 scheme.
Cumberlander is Oregon's second recruit from Georgia in this class (joining 5* APB Taj Griffin) and third in as many years, a result of Oregon's increased emphasis on the state and in the south generally. Cumberlander chose Oregon over offers from California, Mississippi State, Wisconsin, Texas Tech, and Georgia Tech, among others.You can watch his HUDL highlight video below.
