Practice highlights (from Moseley's report):
- Despite Hroniss Grasu's questionable availability for Friday, the offensive line "is in a much better spot" heading into its game against Arizona this time around.
- Rob gives the defense the nod in a period that matched them up with offense.
- Jeff Lockie also caught Rob's eye in practice after taking snaps against Oregon State.
Quote of the day:
Listen, I got a job to do here. These kids and this staff have put too much time and effort into this to be distracted from this. We have a job to do and we have to get ready for it Friday.
--Scott Frost on the rumors regarding the Nebraska head coach vacancy.
Links:
- After an early loss to Arizona, the Ducks have moved on and now have a chance at a rematch with a spot in the playoffs on the line. What's crazy for me to think about is that in the BCS era, we'd probably be sitting at #3 and on the outside, looking in.
- You want an update on Hroniss Grasu? He's day-to-day.
- Over at the Pac-12 blog, Kevin Gemmell has a post on the matchup between Marcus Mariota and Scooby Wright.
- In some coaching award news, Gary Campbell was named the AFCA Assistant Coach of the Year. And, Scott Frost is one of five finalists for the Broyles Award, given to the top assistant coach of the year.
- A review of the women's soccer team, which finished 7-10-2 with an overall RPI of 74.
Go Ducks!
