March has some of the best traditions. St. Patrick's Day. Spring break. Oregon State getting bounced in the first round of the conference tournament. Onto the Quack:
Links
- The Ducks got down 15-5 to the Beavers last night, but put on the full court press and roared back to an 88-74 win. Altman changed the game in the first half by putting on the press to pull Oregon out of an early malaise, but it was a second half scoring barrage that put ice on OSU's tourney hopes.
- This means that Oregon will take on UCLA in the tournament's second round. The two teams split the season series, with the Ducks winning in double-OT two weeks ago in Westwood. But that game didn't feature Jordan Adams or Kyle Anderson, both of whom were suspended for the contest.
- Oregon's pro day is today, and De'Anthony Thomas has something to prove after a sub-standard 40-time at the combine.
- The new episode of the Solid Verbal is all about the Pac-12.
