  • Our man Ifo "Island" Ekpre-Olomu was named to the Lott IMPACT Trophy watch list for 2014. I will be very interested to see how Ifo does this year under first year defensive coordinator Don Pellum. Will he get as many plays coming his way with Terrance Mitchell departing to the NFL?

  • Bleeding Green Nation wonders if Chip Kelly is showing a little too much "Oregon Bias" in terms of recruiting players and coaches from his old stomping grounds.

  • The road to Oklahoma City begins this weekend for the Oregon Ducks Softball team. Remember the complaints from last year about no TV for the games outside of ESPN? The article points out the Pac-12 Network will be carrying all the Oregon games this weekend.

  • Speaking of softball, here's a preview from one of Oregon's opponents this weekend in Utah Valley.

  • How are you feeling about our Wide Receiver corp next year? Pacific Takes thinks this will be an area of concern for Oregon. I have to agree. While there is talent and highly touted recruits, they will be tested very early against Michigan State. At least Marcus is back right?

  • Rob Moseley talks running backs and where things sit after Spring practices. The Thomas the Tank Engine Tyner Express continues to roll and Byron Marshall seems to be getting better and better. Who will win the starting job? I really like Marshall's game and with another fall camp under his belt, I have to wonder if a Marshall and Tyner backfield might prove to be one of the more potent to play at Oregon.

  • At least one major sports organization already has Marcus Mariota atop its Big Board for the 2015 NFL Draft. Of the 4 quarterbacks listed among the 32 players, 3 are playing in the Pac-12.

I think I could probably make it to the lightswitch.
