• More UO basketball mess. College kids, save yourselves the trouble. Alcohol involved = no. Period. Parents need to have a healthy conversation with their children on this topic before they leave the nest.
• Duck baseball got back on a winning track, defeating the Portland Pilots, 3-2, on six strong innings from Porter Clayton.
• Among major topics of discussion at the Pac-12 spring meetings: relocating the Pac-12 Championship Game to a fixed site. The conference is looking at Levi's Statdium, the new 49ers home in Santa Clara.
• Meanwhile, in Corvallis, Oregon State is looking for a new basketball coach, and there are some new names coming to the fold.
