The transfer hits keep coming, as DuckTerritory reports that safety Oshay Dunmore is not expected to return to the Oregon football program this fall. Dunmore, a football and track star from Newport, had ten tackles in limited action as a freshman last season. He joins Tyrell Robinson and Eric Amoako as defensive players who have announced transfers in recent days.
While none of the three were expected to be major contributors next season, their collective impact does diminish Oregon's depth in the defensive backfield. However, none of the three transfers were listed on the Oregon two-deep, which likely had an impact on their decision to leave the program. However, Oregon's top three corners (Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Dior Mathis, and Troy Hill) and one starting safety (Erick Dargan) are seniors, and will need to be replaced after the upcoming season.
We wish all of the departing players the best of luck wherever they land.
