- Chris Warren, a 4-star running back from Rockwell, Texas, announced his top six schools on Twitter this weekend. - We are now less than a week away, and first up on the road to the College Football Playoff is a matchup with the South Dakota Coyotes, who are coming off a 4-8 record and an eighth-place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Coyotes were paid $525,000 for their trip to Autzen Stadium for the likely chance that their team will be beaten down to the point where Mark Helfrich will hold a halftime raffle among fans to see who wants to play quarterback in the second half.
- Fall sports are officially back as the Oregon soccer team opened their season on Friday. The Ducks dropped their opener 1-0 to Wisconsin in what looked to be an evenly played match that remained scoreless for nearly 60 minutes. Oregon bounced back on Sunday, picking up their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Milwaukee. Bri Pugh and Kiyomi Cook netted the goals for the Ducks in the 52nd and 82nd minute, respectively. The Ducks now return home to face Saint Mary's on Friday night and Loyola Marymount on Sunday afternoon in the Oregon Nike tournament.
