The University of Oregon released its 2014-15 men's basketball schedule Monday night. The Ducks tip-off the season on Friday, Nov. 14 against Coppin State, a game that will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. Among marquee games in the non-conference portion of the schedule, Oregon will play in the Legends Classic at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. They will face Michigan in the first round, and either Villanova or VCU in the second round of that tournament. Other non-conference games of note include a trip to Chicago to play Illinois on Dec. 13, and a home contest with Ole Miss on Dec. 7. Rounding out the non-conference slate is home games with Detroit, Toledo, Portland St., Concordia, Cal State-Northridge, Delaware St., UC Santa Barbara, and UC-Irvine.
The conference slate begins with the Civil War, as Oregon hosts Oregon State on Jan. 3 at Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks avoid the mountain road trip this season, having no trip to Utah or Colorado, while not hosting Stanford or California.
