I've done it. I've successfully completed the stages of grief. As such, I'm looking forward to some Oregon basketball, where Happy I Hate washington Week has snuck up on us again. Get your hate flowing for the basketball team's trip to Seattle this weekend.
Links
- Mahalo, Marcus. Mariota is headed to the NFL. It's totally the right decision, but still makes me sad.
- Deforest Buckner, meanwhile, is staying in school. The defensive line could be the strongest unit on defense next season.
- Royce Freeman was named a Freshman All-American. Freeman looked spectacular most of the year, but really slowed up in the bowl games. An offeseason should do him a lot of good.
- The Eugene Country Club has been selected to host the 2016 NCAA golf championships. Eugene last hosted the event in 1978.
- Former Oregon basketball star Anthony Taylor will be inducted into the Pac-12 Hall of Honor.
- The men's basketball squad will take on former Oregon coach Ernie Kent's Washington State Cougars tonight. They already have two road wins in conference this season (Cal, UW LOL), and will be a tough out in Pullman.
