Oregon dominated Florida State in the Rose Bowl and ended the Seminoles' 29-game winning streak. Marcus Mariota was named the offensive most valuable player of the game and Tony Washington won the same award for the defensive side of the ball. The Seminoles were close at halftime as the score was 18-13, but the Ducks outscored FSU in the second half by 41-7.

Oregon will play Ohio State on Jan. 12 for the national championship. The Ducks opened as a 7 point favorite according to Vegas, but the line will shift a lot from now until kickoff at Jerry's World. Like the Mayweather, Pacquiao fight, a lot of people have wanted to see a matchup between Oregon and Alabama. This time Oregon kept their end of the bargain and made it to the natty.

SportsCenter is already advertising the matchup between Oregon and Ohio State. Here is the new "This is SportsCenter" commercial.

Unfortunately some Duck players chanted "no means no" to the tune of the Florida States "Warchant." The players will be disciplined internally according to a report from Tyson Alger.

Here is a Pac-12 basketball preview from The Oregonian. The Ducks will begin Pac-12 play this weekend as they host Oregon State tomorrow night. The game can be seen on ESPNU at 5 p.m.
