Football Practice Report

The Ducks treated Thursday's practice like a Wednesday because the national championship game is Monday. Safeties Juwaan Williams and Reggie Daniels both had an interception during practice; Derrick Malone Jr. also had an interception. Bralon Addison practiced on Thursday and worked with the scout team. Keanon Lowe said that the team has been focusing on attacking. "We've got to attack everything in our lives - especially outside of here, as far as school and life and everything like that."

Men's basketball falls to No. 7 Arizona

Jordan Bell tied the single-season blocks record Thursday night, but it wasn't enough as the Ducks lost 80-62. The Ducks were out rebounded by the Wildcats and Arizona got a lot of shots right by the rim. Altman said after the game that  "the physicality of they game got to us." The Ducks will have to flush the loss quick because they host Arizona State tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Oregon and Ohio senators have placed a friendly wager for the national championship

If Oregon wins the game Ohio senators will be forced to throw up the Oregon "O" and if Ohio State upsets Oregon then the Oregon senators will help their colleague spell out "O-H-I-O."

Oregon steals cornerback recruit

The Ducks received a surprise commitment yesterday; Ugo Amadi was originally committed to LSU, but now wishes to attend the University of Oregon. The 5'10, 180 lbs defensive back will help ease the pain of replacing key losses next year as the Ducks will lose Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Troy Hill, Erick Dargan and Dior Mathis.

Jimmy Kimmel's college scavenger hunt

Jimmy Kimmel had a college student from Oregon and Ohio State on his show last night. Both students competed against each other in a scavenger hunt. Hopefully the Oregon's student's mom wasn't watching the show. It was a close competition but unfortunately the Buckeyes came out on top.
