Ducks land a 4 star commitment from California

Bryson Young gives his verbal pledge to the Ducks.

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Despite the results of a game that may or may have not actually happened yesterday for the Oregon Ducks, that didn't deter four star defensive end Bryson Young to give his verbal commitment to the Ducks this Sunday afternoon.

The 6'5"/220 pound product from Clovis, CA, decided to end his recruitment by joining the Ducks 2016 class. He holds offers from plenty of big time programs all across the country. Among that list are Tennessee, Michigan, Southern Cal, Arizona State, Utah, and UCLA. His one, and only, visit was to the Ducks. He visited Eugene for the game against Utah on September 26th. Despite the poor showing as Oregon lost 62-20, the Ducks maintained the lead as a favorite to land Young.

Young joins an Oregon recruiting class that is currently ranked 16th in the nation according to Scout.
