Your daily dose of Duck news.

  • The defense has been a big question mark for Oregon thus far in the season. Helfrich discusses the defense heading in to the Saturday afternoon's 3:00 p.m. showdown against Washington State in Autzen Stadium.
  • Taking things over to the golfing side, Oregon's Aaron Wise leads the Duck's golf team to 10th place at the Nike meet.
  • If you are curious as to why former walk-on quarterback Taylor Alie is ahead of the former four-star recruit Morgan Mahalak, well, you're not the only one who is curious about that. During his Tuesday press conference, head coach Mark Helfrich was asked that question, and he explains why.
  • And lastly, it looks like the moment in Oregon basketball recruiting is going strong, as 5 star power forward from El Cajon, California, is officially visiting the Oregon Ducks this weekend. It's worth noting that the Crystal Ball projection has him going to UCLA, however, recruiting is a weird process, so just getting Leaf on campus for an official visit is huge.
