Some highly-ranked teams (looking at you, Ohio State) are still playing weak competition. Other teams are going up against real competition. And as of this week, there is actual value to playing strong opponents. Two top-four teams square off in what promises to be a grind-it-out slug-fest.

Today's schedule is a pretty significant one.  There are eight undefeated teams playing today, with seven of those teams being 8-0.  Strength of Schedule has become a popular conversation topic with the "College Football Playoff Rankings" being released this past week.  Three PAC12 teams are represented in the first rankings, led by Stanford (#11), followed closely by Utah (#12) and rounded out with UCLA (#23).  Arguably, the big matchup today is LSU and Alabama; both teams being represented in the College Football Playoff Rankings. "ESSSSSS EEEEEEE SEEEEEEE," right?
