Man, the offseason sucks. So. Many. Football. Withdrawls. Here's a much needed dose of Quack:
- The Oregon mens' basketball team went down to Los Angeles and picked up a win over USC, 80-75. Joe Young led the way with 26 points.
- Eastern Washington coach Beau Baldwin has been throwing a week long hissy fit over the transfer of Vernon Adams. I'm guessing Baldwin would take the Oregon coaching job in half a second if it were offered. He holds his players to a higher standard, I guess.
- The draft experts are giving Marcus Mariota the Teddy Bridgewater treatment, dropping him on the board despite there being zero new information out. Jim Mora, for one, thinks Mariota is a 'sure thing'.
- Many in the Big Sky are questioning the graduate transfer rule, concerned that it makes FCS an FBS farm system. The obvious problem with their argument: there have been way, way more FBS to FBS graduate transfers.
GO DUCKS!
