Today is the day all eyes will be on Marcus Mariota at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Mariota will go through his on-filed workout (timing, stations, skill drills, etc), along with other quarterbacks like Oregon State's Sean Mannion, Baylor's Bryce Petty and of course, Florida State's Jameis Winston.

Mariota will indeed throw at the combine, something that looked doubtful after suffering a sprain in the AC joint of his shoulder during the College Football Playoff national championship against Ohio State. Many thought Mariota would instead throw during his pro day in Eugene next month.

During interviews this week, Mariota impressed scouts, to no one's surprise. He has deflected questions about a possible reunion with Chip Kelly in Philadelphia well, acknowledging that while it would be fun, that's something out of his control, and he's just trying to be the best player he can to make an impact wherever he goes. Good ol' Marcus, always saying the right thing at the right time.
