NCAA Tournament 2015: Oregon draws 8-seed, First Round Matchup with Oklahoma State in the West Region

After advancing to the Pac-12 championship game, the Ducks are headed to Omaha to face the Cowboys.

Despite losing the Pac-12 championship and the automatic bid opportunity on Saturday night, the Ducks are going dancing for the third straight season.

The Ducks have drawn a first round matchup with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Cowboys are 18-13 on the season, with a 8-10 record in the Big 12 conference. If the Ducks defeat the Cowboys, they will advance to play 1-seed Wisconsin on Sunday. The potential matchup with Wisconsin is nerve racking, but the game being out West should help out Dana Altman and the Ducks.

After being on the bubble for most of the season, the Ducks secured their spot with a sold showing in the Pac-12 tournament. Wins over Colorado and Utah bumped Oregon all the way up to an 8-seed.
