• Even though the tournament begins today, Oregon does not take the court until tomorrow. Both Oregon and Oklahoma State think the game will be determined by who can control the boards.
• After Seattle, Omaha was Oregon's coaching staff's second choice of a first round venue. Both Dana Altman and some of his assistant coaches have connections to the Nebraska city.
• In football news, Oregon has offered safety Brandon Jones a scholarship. Jones is a top safety recruit from the 2016 class who has a friendship with current Oregon commit Seth Green.
• Conor Harber is set to make his first start for the baseball team against Arizona State on Friday. Harber is a JUCO transfer from Western Nevada College who has a 2.88 ERA over 25 innings so far this season.
