  • Spring football begins today, and with it comes new changes for 2015. Among those changes is a new position for Charles Nelson, who is moving from WR/KR to DB. The move is expected to help fill the gap after the Ducks lost key players in the secondary, including Ifo Ekpre-Olomu and Troy Hill.
  • Oregon spring football practices have always been locked down tighter than Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. According to Andrew Grief, the first 10 minutes of Oregon's first spring practice will be open to the media. Grief went on to say that this is likely a one-time deal.
  • After being swept by Arizona this weekend, Oregon baseball slipped out of the Baseball America Top 25. Also losing their spot in the rankings was the Oregon State Beavers, marking the first time since 2011 both the Ducks and Beavers weren't ranked in the top 25.
  • Over on the softball diamond, Geri Ann Glasco and Cheridan Hawkins took home some Pac-12 awards. Glasco was named Pac-12 player of the week after hitting three home runs in one game against Washington, while Hawkins was named Pac-12 pitcher of the week after throwing her first career perfect game last week.
