The softball team capped off a historic weekend by claiming the No. 1 spot in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Oregon swept Arizona State for the first time since the 1989 season. Their performance was noted and the Ducks are now the highest ranked team in the NCAA. The Ducks join five other Pac-12 schools in the NFCA top-25.

Jake Fisher visits with teams that have late first-round picks.

Fisher's athleticism was displayed at the 2015 NFL combine. Teams have taken notice of the former Oregon lineman and Fisher is starting to become involved in first-round conversations. Among the teams that Fisher has met with are the Colts, Bengals and Saints.

Oregon baseball isn't done yet.

The Ducks beat OSU in the Civil War last weekend and hopefully they can build on the momentum. Before the season started the expectations were high for Oregon. After a rough month the Ducks are now 4-8 in conference and are ninth in the Pac-12.

Will the Chargers trade for Marcus Mariota?

Mariota going to the Chargers would be one of the best scenarios for the 2014 Heisman winner. I'm not just saying this because I'm a San Diego Charger fan. Mariota wouldn't be thrown into a situation where he has no talent around him. Mariota wouldn't have to be the whole offense next year and would just have to be a game manager. Russell Wilson is sometimes described as a game manager and it seems to be working well for him up in Seattle.
