Quack Fix: Oregon defense has a big day

Your daily dose of Oregon Ducks news.

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

  • The Ducks are in their final two weeks of spring practice before the spring game on May 2nd, and the defense has come to life in practice. The unit forced four turnovers, including a diving interception by Arrion Springs, who is looking to be a big contributor in 2015.
  • Talk of the Eagles trading up to draft Marcus Mariota has been ongoing for months, but now a new scenario could possibly be the one that reunites him with Chip Kelly in a three team trade.
  • The men's and women's track and field teams continue to shine, and and in the newest rankings, both place in the top 10 with the women's team checking in at No. 6 and the men holding their position at No. 3
  • Has Chip Kelly lost his mind by signing Tim Tebow to the Eagles? Ducks coach Mark Helfrich doesn't see it that way. With QBs Matt Barkley, Mark Sanchez and recently acquired Sam Bradford already on the roster, it will be interesting to see what role Tebow will play for the team.
