Glen Ihenacho and Arrion Springs are making plays in the secondary.
Ihenacho had an interception on Taylor Allie this morning and Springs had a pass deflection in 1-on-1 drills. Ty Griffin is getting a lot of attention, but it isn't at the quarterback position. The quarterback is also making plays on kick and punt coverage, and is getting some work done at receiver.
Marcus Mariota signs with Subway.
Mariota's friends at Subway wanted to welcome him by making the heisman winner into a sandwich. The result is a very crude looking version of Mariota. It is very different than the promo ad Nike did.
Even though Vernon Adams won't be suiting up with his teammates until fall camp it seems like he has already won the starting job. Aaron Fentress explores the situation that Lockie is in and asks some good questions about the quarterback battle.
Tweets of the afternoon:
A fan asked if he will be attending the spring game.
