  • With the final week of spring practice underway, both units were looking to start the week off strong. On Monday, it was the offense who had the upper hand on the defense as Morgan Mahalak had touchdown passes to wide receivers, Bralon Addison, Ty Griffin and Darren Carrington. Running back Thomas Tyner had a solid day as well, making some big runs.
  • The anticipation of Vernon Adams arriving in Eugene is high, but he's not taking this opportunity for granted and knows winning the starting job isn't a sure thing. Adams will have to compete with the other quarterbacks that have the experience of Oregon's system. With a big game against Michigan State in week 2, it will be important for one of these quarterbacks to emerge as the next man up at the position.
  • The men's track and field team dropped a couple of spots in the newest rankings released on Monday, as the Ducks come in at No. 5. The women's team holds their position, coming in at No. 6.
  • The Oregon softball team is coming off a huge weekend, sweeping No. 9 Louisiana by winning the second game of the doubleheader, 2-1. With the NCAA tournament looming, the Ducks are playing extremely well and are in position to make another run to the College World Series.
