Oregon wide receiver commit Theo Howard runs blazing fast 40-yard dash

It's no secret Oregon loves fast players. Speed is the name of the game in Eugene, and based off this video, it looks like Theo Howard will fit right in with the Ducks when he arrives on campus in 2016.

At The Opening Regional in Oakland Calif., Howard, a 4-star wide receiver commit ran a blazing 40-yard dash in just 4.38 seconds. The 5-11 receiver also ran another 40 in 4.39 seconds. Only six players ran a 40-yard dash faster than Howard's at this year's NFL combine. Howard's performance earned him a spot in The Opening Finals this summer in Beaverton, an event for the top 150 players in the nation.

Howard is rated by Scout as the 19th best receiver in the nation, the No. 5 wide receiver prospect in the west and the No. 97 overall prospect. Last year, Howard caught 52 passes for 869 yards and seven touchdowns with Westlake High School (California).
