- It's crunch time for the Oregon baseball team if they want to have any chance of making the NCAA tournament. Coming off of a series sweep over Utah, the Ducks now face a must-win situation against Oregon State and UCLA this upcoming week.
- The Oregon track and field teams faced a little more of a challenge this time around, but they responded by winning the 9th straight conference title for the men's team and the 7th straight for the women's team. - In some former Oregon Ducks news, former QB Darron Thomas, now with the AFL's LA Kiss, had a huge night, throwing for 6 touchdowns for 229 yards and 1 rushing touchdown. Reminder: Chip Kelly led Oregon to an undefeated regular season in 2010 with Thomas at QB and this fact will forever remain amazing.
