  • It's crunch time for the Oregon baseball team if they want to have any chance of making the NCAA tournament. Coming off of a series sweep over Utah, the Ducks now face a must-win situation against Oregon State and UCLA this upcoming week.
  • The Oregon track and field teams faced a little more of a challenge this time around, but they responded by winning the 9th straight conference title for the men's team and the 7th straight for the women's team. Ken Goe writes that this may have been the most impressive performance in the string of titles the teams have won.
  • Howe Field has been the home of either Oregon baseball or softball since 1936. The No. 2 seeded Ducks are looking to send it off on a winning note as a new stadium will replace it for the 2016 season. The Ducks take on NC State in Game 1 of the Super Regional on Friday at 6pm PT.
  • In some former Oregon Ducks news, former QB Darron Thomas, now with the AFL's LA Kiss, had a huge night, throwing for 6 touchdowns for 229 yards and 1 rushing touchdown. For his first start of the season, that's a pretty good number to post. Reminder: Chip Kelly led Oregon to an undefeated regular season  in 2010 with Thomas at QB and this fact will forever remain amazing.
