After the start of the game was delayed due to weather, Oregon began the game slowly. The Ducks dug themselves an early two run deficit and could never recover. Oregon must win the rest of their games in the loser bracket in order to have a chance to win the national championship. Remember those "We want Bama" shirts? Well break them out! The ladies will play Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. against Alabama.
A few Ducks, like Jenna Prandini and Tyler Ferguson, have already punched their ticket to the NCAA Championships. The rest of the aspiring athletes will continue their quest today. Today's track events will focus on the short and middle distances. The relays and the conclusion of the NCAA West Regional meet will be on Saturday.
Oregon scraped their way into the post season. Their wild ride to Omaha will start in Missouri where they will play the Hawkeyes at 10:00 a.m. on ESPN3.
The annual track meet will be held in Eugene and will take place on Friday and Saturday. The meet will be televised on NBCSN and NBC Live Extra.
