  • Oregon softball had a rough trip to the Women's College World Series, losing back-to-back games for the first time since dropping two in a row to Arizona State on May 9-10, 2013. The Ducks finished the year 51-8 after falling to UCLA and Alabama in Oklahoma City.
  • Some of the best track athletes in the world came to Eugene over the weekend for the annual Prefontaine Classic. The meet was held on May 30, the 40th anniversary of Steve Prefontaine's tragic death.
  • Oregon track & field will be well represented at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, beginning June 10 at Hayward Field. The Ducks qualified 45 athletes at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds in Austin, Texas over the weekend.
