Quack Fix: Duck fans, the sky isn't falling

• Eastern Washington University released the spring quarter graduation roster yesterday. Vernon Adams Jr. was not on the list, but this isn't a surprise to some people. Since Adams has said he needs to complete a math class this summer he wouldn't be on the spring graduation roster anyway. Bruce Feldman and other journalists have said that Adams plans on finishing his class in the next week.
• Now that we have the quarterback news out of the way the Ducks received two commitments yesterday. La'Mar Winston and Jared Mayden announced at Nike's The Opening they want to attend the University of Oregon next season. Winston is the top prep prospect in Oregon this fall and will try and help Central Catholic win the OSAA title. Mayden is a cornerback out of Texas and chose Oregon over schools like Alabama, Ohio State and UCLA.
• The Indiana Pacers should love their second round pick. Joseph Young is averaging 20.7 points per game in the Orlando Summer League. Yesterday the Pacers beat the Orlando Blue and Young had a game high 28 points.
• Aidan Schneider was named to the Lou Groza Award watch list. The sophomore out of Portland's own Grant High School was a walk on last fall.
