Dye (6-3, 210 pounds) received interest from Oregon State, Michigan and Wisconsin as well. 247Sports rates the Norco High product as the 42nd best safety nationwide.
Dye is the seventh California recruit to verbally commit to Oregon in the 2016 class. He's the fifth commit on the defensive side of the ball as well (third in the defensive backfield).
