• While he may be the only rookie yet to sign his contract, Marcus Mariota certainly isn't having problems signing endorsement deals, as he has signed with Island Insurance Company. It's the Heisman winner's second home state endorsement signing. Let's hope the next big time deal that he signs is his contract with the Tennessee Titans.
• He watched from the bench in March as the Ducks fell just short against eventual runner-up Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament, 72-65. The Ducks lacked size this past season, but perhaps Roman Sorkin can help change that this upcoming season and give the Ducks a strong inside presence.
