  • The competition for the starting quarterback job is going to be extremely interesting now that former Eastern Washington QB Vernon Adams was admitted to Oregon on Monday. Replacing a player as good as Marcus Mariota is never easy, but the experience of Jeff Lockie and the dynamic play making abilities of Adams should provide a solid transition into the future at the position.
  • Former OL Andre Yruretagoyena was one of the key components to an Oregon offensive line that was vital to the Ducks' success in 2014 and before. But in February, he announced that he was retiring from football and it was on his terms.
  • Utah fell 51-27 to Oregon last year, but they showed at times how far they had come since joining the Pac 12. Tyson Alger takes an early look at the 2015 game against Utah that will be played on September 26th in Autzen Stadium.
