Your daily dose of Oregon Ducks news.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

  • With training camps all over the league beginning, and the season fast approaching, Mariota showed off his consistency and accuracy in the first weekend at camp with the Titans. This of course, is a surprise to almost no Duck fan, but it's cool to see the NFL world realizing how good he is.
  • There's a first time for everything as the saying goes: Former Ducks golfer, Daniel Miernicki won his first tournament at the ATB Financial Classic on the Canadian PGA Tour on Sunday. His round of -6 for a 64 was good enough for a one stroke victory.
  • In an age where more top recruits are taking of the Ducks than ever before, 4-star safety Lamar Jackson has set his visit to Eugene for September 19th when the Ducks take on Georgia State. He also has interest in Notre Dame, Arizona State, Oklahoma and Michigan.
  • The college football world was stunned when Mike Riley left Oregon State for Nebraska, but he's since found inspiration from a former rival as he enters his first season with the Cornhuskers.
