• Recruiting is none stop, and coaches are always looking ahead at the next class of recruits, sometimes years in advance to get an edge on other schools. Such is the case with the Oregon staff. They just offered the nations top uncommitted quarterback in the 2017 class. 
  
• For the first time, the Oregon Ducks backup quarterback, Jeff Lockie, spoke to the media for the first time after finding out that he lost the starting quarterback job to Vernon Adams. The guy really has class and keeps his head up.
• ESPN's Chantel Jennings seems to think that both USC and Oregon are doomed.
