  • Jeff Lockie got the start this past weekend at QB against Georgia State while Vernon Adams sat out with his index finger injury. Conference play begins this weekend against No. 18 Utah, and while the Ducks haven't named a starter yet, Vernon Adams is likely to see action in the game.
  • The Ducks already have a solld recruiting class for 2016, but adding the No. 39 overall player Kigel Knott, according to ESPN, would be a huge get. However, Knott has decided he needs more time for his commitment. Alabama and Ole Miss are also serious contenders for Knott's skills.
  • While we just found out about the kickoff time against Utah on Sunday, Oregon's contest against Colorado on October 3rd has been selected by ESPN for a 7pm PST kickoff.
  • Oregon has played for the national championship twice in the past 5 years, including the first ever College Football Playoff Championship last year against Ohio State. But with the conference's 9 game schedule and the conference getting off to a slow start in non-conference play this season, the Pac 12 may be in trouble this season in regards to making the field of 4.
