Oregon takes a 37-21 lead into the second half against EWU

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

The Vernon Adams era at Oregon started off with a bang. The Ducks scored touchdowns on the first 5 drives, as Vernon Adams and Royce Freeman led the Ducks to an early lead.

Unfortunately, the youth of the secondary reared its ugly head early. Jordan West has already racked up 277 yards through the air as Oregon's young secondary has been unable to consistently stop the Eagles. On the bright side, the front 7 has dominated the line of scrimmage, holding the Eagles to only 22 yards on the ground.

Oregon takes a strong lead into the half, but the Eagles will start with the ball. We'll look to see what adjustments Oregon can make to put the game away.

GO DUCKS!
