Dillon Brooks is entering the Pac-12 Player of the Year conversation. Brooks led the Ducks over the Wildcats and won, 83-75. The sophomore finished with 24 points.
Ryan Anderson had 22 points and 10 rebounds for Arizona, shooting 8-9 from the floor, but had five turnovers. Gabe York recorded 18 points and two assists.
The Wildcats came out shooting. Oregon lacked defensive intensity and Arizona started 7-7 from the floor. The excellent start by the Wildcats gave them a 16-7 lead. Bill Walton called the start "an annihilation."
Oregon fought back and Tyler Dorsey started to heat up. The freshman made a layup, cutting Arizona's lead 30-23. Oregon continued to attack the rim. A monster dunk by Roman Sorkin gave the Ducks life.

At the beginning of the second half Brooks tied the game by splitting a pair of free throws. A couple minutes later a Cook three-pointer gave Oregon the lead. On the following possession Benjamin hit a fadeaway three-pointer, giving the Ducks a 52-46 lead.
Foul trouble hurt the Ducks and forced Altman to stretch his rotation. Bell and Cook both had four fouls with over eight minutes to play. A pair of free throws brought the Wildcats back within a score, 63-61, before the eight minute media timeout.
Benjamin made critical plays in the final minutes. The senior hit a jump shot that gave Oregon the lead back and was fouled on the next possession. Benjamin hit all three of his free throws giving the Ducks the lead at 69-64. With under five minutes left Brooks hit a big shot and secured his fourth 20 point game in his last five appearances.
Gotta love Dillon Brooks knocking down a three and then staring down the Arizona bench. Cold-blooded. 72-64 @OregonMBB with 4:39 to go.
