Last night, the No. 23 Oregon Ducks stormed into the McKale Center and defeated No. 18 Arizona, snapping the Wildcats' 49-game home winning streak. Up until last night, that was the longest active home winning streak in the nation. California was the last school to win at the McKale Center, back in 2013.
The Ducks trailed by as many as 14 points before rallying back in the second half for the win. Jerry Allen was on the call for all the action, and you can relive some of the best moments last night right here.
After what was easily their best win of the year, there's a lot of chatter about this Oregon basketball team making some noise in March. Could we see this team go back to the Elite Eight or even the Final Four? Is it ridiculous to think that our basketball team could win a national title before our football team?
