A special guest joins me once again to talk about Duck athletics.
We open talking about what the second half of the Cal game meant to each of us. There are some football players that stood out to us both on the field and in some leadership roles that some have taken upon themselves.
Justin Herbert had a great game. We talk about what his great performance can tell us about the future, how the scheme has changed around him, and how the dynamic of the depth chart has been altered the last few weeks.
Rob Moseley tweeted out a potential depth chart for next year and there were a couple players that were obviously missing who are not graduating, Freeman for example, but there were a couple others that were surprising.
Lastly, we talk about the game against Arizona State. Vegas opened with a very aggressive line in favor of Oregon, which could mean a couple things. Also, we talk about how Arizona State blitzing could pose problems for Herbert and we look to improvements that we would like to see.
I’m sure I’m missing some things but I highly recommend listening.
We fully intended to talk about Oregon basketball but just ran out of time. We will get to it next time. I promise.
