While some would have you believe the world is falling around the Oregon Ducks, with the visiting Washington Huskies a touchdown-plus favorite and a GoFundMe page set up to buy out head coach Mark Helfrich’s contract, not everyone is lacking confidence.

UO offensive line coach Steve Greatwood was interviewed about the rivalry game, and skipped the typical coach speak about every week being important:

“It’s Washington. It’s a big, big game. It’s a rivalry,” Greatwood tells reporters. “We’ve had the upper hand and we intend to keep that for the next several years.”

“The streak’s not going to end,” he says.

Kudos to Greatwood for his honesty about the importance of this game, and for his steadfast belief that the streak will extend to a 13th year.
