So the game against Washington State was less than good. Sean and I are back for an episode of Slingin’ Quack with a pretty subdued tone. The answer to what went wrong is pretty obvious.
We spend a lot of time wondering the impact of various factors. Weighing inexperience, a lack of stars, and playing a tough defense there are a lot of things to consider. Ultimately, we felt that the team wasn’t well prepared for this game. Giving up nearly 300 yards rushing to Washington State is not very positive.
There is time devoted to the unique situation that Oregon is in when it comes to coaching. I have a theory on what the secret reason for success at Oregon football and it’s not the fancy uniforms, or the huge facilities.
Lastly, we talk about the upcoming game against Washington. The Husky lines are great, as much as it pains me to say, and showed against Stanford that the hype has been real thus far.
