In a fitting matchup, the No. 5 Oregon Ducks open their season tomorrow on Veterans Day against the Army Black Knights. This will be the first time ever these two programs have met on the hardwood.
Today, the Ducks unveiled special Veterans Day uniforms for the game.
I don’t know about you, but seeing Jordan Bell in a military themed uniform with an American flag wrapped around him is more American than Aunt Bethany saying the Pledge of Allegiance at Christmas Eve dinner at the Griswold’s.
The students will also be decked out for the occasion with the first 3,000 Pit Crew members through the door receiving a short sleeve version of the shooting shirt the team will wear.
