On Friday, the Executive and Audit Committee of the University of Oregon Board of Trustees will meet at 1:30 PM, and there’s just one thing on the table.

According to the agenda, the only topic will be the “Approval of Certain Athletic Contract (Men’s Basketball, head coach)” which is just a really fancy way of saying, let’s keep Dana Altman around for a while.

Since being hired by the Ducks prior to the 2010-11 season, Altman has a 154-64 record, and his teams have never missed the postseason. The Ducks won the CBI Tournament in 2011, reached the quarterfinals of the NIT in 2012 and have reached the NCAA Tournament four years in a row, which is a school record.

Altman has also brought home several awards, winning Pac-12 Coach of the Year three times as well as the 2013 National Coach of the Year award.

Currently, Altman is under contract with the Ducks through the 2020 season, having signed an extension during the 2013-14 season after leading the Ducks to their first Sweet 16 since 2007.

No word yet on how long the extension is expected to be for, but one thing is for certain, and that is Dana Altman is here to stay.
